9. ANNUAL RE-UNION

Guests, who must be approved by the Committee, may be invited to the Annual Re-Union of the Association pro- they have been in residence at some time in the Corony of Hong Kong.

10. COMMITTEE POWERS OF

(i)

The Committee shall be authorised to take such action as it considers necessary in the interests of the Association and the Association shall indem- nify the Committee in respect of such action. (ii) The Committee shall have the power to appoint Sub-Committees and define the powers of such Sub-Committees. The findings of any Sub- Committee shall be submitted to the General Committee for confirmation.

(iii) Five Members, which shall include the Chairman

and Secretary, shall form a quorum.

11. DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEE

To meet at such times and places as they may determine but not less than twice in each year.

To receive reports from the Secretary, Treasurer and Welfare Officer and to take any steps necessary to maintain the machinery of the Association in regular and effective order.

To consider and deal with all matters affecting the interests of Members.

To deal with all matters of emergency and to report on their activities to the Annual General Meeting of the Association.
