Perhaps I ought to mention that in con-
nexion with the Indyka group of cases the
circumstances that the ground for divorce
is not one recognised in England does not
matter so long as the ground in question
does not offend against natural justice.

Also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar
Association has written to Lord Shepherd,
protesting that the Association's report on
Chinese marriages in Hong Kong has been over-
looked during consideration within your
Government
Department of any future draft legislation.

Shepherd and of our reply. You will see that we
wish to redirect his complaint to you, but
nevertheless we should be grateful to know if
there is any justification for his grievances.
