SECRET
Hong Kong Department

25 April, 1969
Thank you for your letter T.S.2/57 III of 3 April about
L.I.C. Intelligence Reports.
We do of course appreciate the already considerable pressure on the Special Branch and the time consuming nature of the work required in preparing these reports. In the light of this and your comments generally I am content to let the matter rest and to rely on occasional special reporting of anything which you
consider significant.
I am grateful for the careful consideration you have given
to my point.
G. C. Hamilton, Esq., CBE., Colonial Secretariat,
HONG KONG.
