The Ministry of Overseas Development recently
telegraphed Hong Kong concerning a forthcoming visit
by John Marsh, the Director of the British Institute
of Management, to the Far East. Hong Kong's reply
indicated that the Hong Kong Management Association
would be arranging a programme for his visit, while
thatHeng Keng Management Association, in a recent
letter to Marsh, asked who would be making his
arrangements! A
Before arriving in Hong Kong Marsh will be in
TETO C
India on a visit sponsored by the Council for Technical
Education and Training for Overseas Countries (TETOC),~-~~
and while there will be in the care of Sir Marrie
James they are old friends. He leaves Bombay on by
Swissair Flight 304F on 27 October, and will arrive
at Kai Tak at 1605 hours. I understand that arrange-
ments are being made for him to stay at the Mandarin
Hotel. He will depart on Saturday morning, 1 November,
for a World Management Conference in Tokyo.
Certain arrangements have already been made for
this visit, either through personal contacts or through
TETOC. His itinerary at present is:-
Monday 27 October
Tuesday 28 October
Arrives 1605.
Luncheon with P. Y. Tang, in
his capacity of Chairman of the
Polytechnic Planning Committee.
