Thank you for your letter of 6 May about
Yu Hua Middle School in which, if I may say so, you set out your views very reasonably and cogently.
I have discussed this with FED and HKD and shall be inviting Lord Shepherd to review the case with the Governor when I join him in Hong Kong on 31 May. In the mean time we can take some comfort from the fact that Wong has now left Hong Kong for China (Hong Kong telegram no. 86 of 6 May).
