4 ELECTRICITY (SCOTLAND) [MONEY]: Queen's Recommendation to be signified.

That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to increase the statutory limits imposed on the amounts outstanding in respect of borrowings by the Scottish Electricity Boards, it is expedient to authorise such increases in the sums falling to be paid out of or into the National Loans Fund or the Consolidated Fund as may result from provisions 5 of the said Act of the present Session-

(i) increasing to £800 million the limit imposed on the aggregate amount out- standing in respect of borrowings by the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board or the South of Scotland Electricity Board, or
(ii) consequentially increasing the sums that may be advanced to the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board and the South of Scotland Electricity Board under section 2 of the Electricity and Gas Act 1963.
