This is a note on the Import Deposit Scheme which may be useful to Mr. Morton when Mr. Saunders, General Manager of the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank calls on him in the course of the next fortnight. Of course, if Mr. Saunders does not call until the end of that period, it may be necessary to add something as a result of later developments.
