Further to our Notice dated 2nd December, 1963, our London Office has drawn our attention to the fact that blank receipt forms of the type issued by Customs in ros- pect of the above deposits are easily obtainable and furthermore, cannot necessarily be authenticated when they have been completed.
In cases therefore where you authorise us to finance the Import Deposit on your behalf, you will appro- ciate that as the advance is made in your name, the standing and integrity of your U.K. buyers is of particular import- ance, as of course, is their solvency.
