7. You may also be interested to know that Hong Kong agreed in the case of Sweden to restrict exports of sheets even though Swedish production had increased by 10 per cent between 1967 and 1968. In this case imports from Hong Kong represented less than 10 per cent of production. Hong Kong can, I think, be thankful that we took a much tougher line than this with the British industry.
