Allocation
With reference to my Notice to Exporters, Series 1 (Britain): No.2/69 of 10th January, 1969, applications received exceeded the total yardage available for Group IV (7,212,107 square yards).

The final position regarding allocation of yardage available for the first quarter is tabulated at the enclosure to this Notice.
3. It will be noted that for Categories 16, 19 and 22 the category cut-off levels are $3.3461, $3.15 and $2.87 respectively. This means that all those applications in respect of the above categories attaining a Hong Kong cost content higher than the respective category cut-off levels will be fully approved; applications attaining a Hong Kong cost content equivalent to the cut-off levels for the relevant categories will only receive a pro-rated share of the quantities applied for, as shown in column (f) of the enclosure.

Successful applicants have been notified individually.
