Sweden's total imports of clothing rose by 12.0 in 1968 and in the first quarter of this year by 14.2%, compared with the corresponding poriod of 1960.

Up to the end of March this year liong Kong retained her position as second supplier after Donnark but compared with the first three months of 1963 her share of the Swedish import market has fallen to 13.0% from 13.5%. Denmark has increased her share from 14.2 in January/March 1968 to 15.3% in the first three months of this year.

Apart from Italy, whose share has fallen from 7.5% to 6.0% (and from whom imports have declined by Kr.1.5 million), all four other of Svodon's main suppliers have increased theix export and their share of Sweden's total imports of clothing, particularly Pinland, whose share rose from 6.5% in January/larch 1968 to 10.4 in the first three months of this year, and the U. K. (10.0% to 11.4. Both Pinland and Britain had export promotion campaigne in Swodon in 1967 and 1960, respoctively.
