that the total supply of cotton anoraks had increased since 1965 and had remained steady since 1967. Baron de Geor remarked that while there was no visible cutback in the cotton market, the discontinuous synthetic fibre anoraks inhibited the growth of cotton anoraks, even though the total demand was increasing.

Mr. Ho enquired how many other countries were restricted apart from Hong Kong, and was informed that South Korea and Yugoslavia were under restraint on all synthetic fibre anoraks.

The statistics for the remaining two non-cotton items having already been examined with those for their cotton counterparts the Statistical Sub-Committee adjourned, and the Industrial Advisers withdrew at 11.30 a.m.
