Swedish textile industry.
The Hong Kong Governant bes noted that the final sentence of (d) above rends as follows i
"Much to ite regret, therefore, the Swedish
Government must request the dong Kong authorities
to prolong the local, temporary expert control
for masther yær.“
As was indicated to clia Consul-Gon:ral when he called at the Commerne and Industry Vepartsont on 20 February 1969, the Hong Kong Gaverinent is prepared to consult with the Swedish Governæent to consider whether there are grounds for the extension of the existing arrangements for a further year.
The Hong Kong Government is glad to note that it was recently confirmed in London between Swedish and British officials that this was the basis on which the swedish sovemuant wished to consult.
