Exports of cotton garments to Sweden

under the 1968/69 Agreement

The current cotton textiles arrangement with Sweden ends on 31st May 1969. You are reminded that exports of goods presently under restraint or an export authorization system must be shipped by midnight on that date. The term "shipped" means that the goods in question must be exported from Hong Kong and clear of Colony waters before midnight on 31st May 1969.

Licensing Arrangements

Your attention is also drawn to the requirement that proposed shipments against quotas or export authorizations during the period 16th 31st May 1969 must be licensed by 5 p.m. on Thursday 15th May 1969.

Suspension of Quota Transfers

3.

Applications for transfer of quota will not be considered after 5 p.m. on Monday 12th May 1969. All companies wishing to effect transfers should do so before that date.
