We have now looked at all the available

figures, though the information at our dispose

may be incomplete.

Our conclusions are that we see no case

(a) a reduction in the quota for

anoraks (and are very doubtful about

the case for continuing the restraint

at all;)

(b) continuing the restraint on knitted

outerwear;

(c) imposing restraints on any additional

cotton or non-cotton items

and we are very doubtful about the need for

continuing all of the cotton restraints agreed

last year.
