Mr. Kumlin then mentioned that his Government was also concerned about the remaining two non-cotton items under E/As undergarments and blouses. He handed over two tables. There followed a brief discussion when Mr. Jordan pointed out that he could not accept that the decline in production, excluding

'panty nylons (tights), need necessarily be attributable to... imports from Hong Kong. He could do no more than note the Swedish

concern.

On the assumption that there would be a favourable response from Stockholm, it was agreed that E/As for ex 841.764 (polyester cotton shirts) should be resumed.
