I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of
your letter of 24 February, in which you repeated the taxt
of my lottor of 14 Fobruary and added :

In this context I would inform you that
the Swedish Government will not

during a twelvo
month period beginning 1st July, 1968 admit
imports of the garments of llong Kong origin listed : in your letter unless such importa are covered by
a Hong Kong export licence endorsed by the Commerco
and Industry Departamt, Hong Kong, oithor
(a)
(b)
that the consignments concerned have been dobited against restraint level to the
limits set out in your letter,
or
in the case of export licences issued before February 21 that the consignments concerned have been dobited against export authorications." It is my understanding that the total exports covored by the arrangements set out in (a) and (b) above will not, during the year beginning 1st July 1968 exceed
the levels set out in your lotter under reference.
