In the course of our meeting with Mr. Jordan we promised to send you copies of the letters in which the Hong Kong Government recorded their agreements in
I endose these July 1968 with the Swedish Government; copies now. You will see that the system of export authorisation which we discussed at our meeting, was in fact instituted for 12 months from the 1 July 1968. think when the text of this letter was checked at the meeting, we concentrated on the latter paragraphs and missed the fact that a time limit was set in the first paragraphs.
