Dear Sire,

With reference to earlier correspondence and to my telephone conversation of yesterday, 9th September, with Mr. Ho, I have the honour to inform the Department that I have received a cable from Norway to the effect that the Horwegian Government intends to ask for the following amendments to the existing textile arrangements:

to be transferred from "authorization" to "globa". Norwegian production showed only a slight increase. from Hong Kong rose by 24% in the poriod 1966-68.

to import.
