As you will have noted from the specimen Export Authorication forms, mplication for an export licence for the particuler cooda in respces of rhich an Export Authorisation is issued muct ko nate before the expiry of the Export Authorisation, Export Authorisations will be valid for a period of three months, Export Licences are valid for only twenty-eight days. The actual goods must therefore be exported within four months from the dome of the Export Authorisation.
The Department will forward foráightly returns to the Norwegian Government showing, by item and cáth as much detail aa'io maotioɑl within each item, the quantities covered by Export Authorisations issued to Hong Kong exporters. 3. In the event that the ieaus of Export Authorisations for eny âten lo suspended, at the request of tho Norwegian Government in accordance with the procedure set out in the pretedáng paragraph, it is my understanding that tho Norwegian Government would be prepared to consider giving its consent to the extension of mlidity of an existing Export Authorisation by a period not exceeding 20 days, if it to satisfied that the' failure to apply for an Export Licence within the period of validity of the Export Authorisation has been caused by circumstartsea boyɑnd the control of the person to whom the Export Authorisation ras iesued,
