With reference to our telephone conversation this morning, I attach a copy of Hong Kong Textile Advisory Board Memorandum 27/69 of 12th September, 1969, detailing the conclusion reached in the final round of discussions on 9th September between, Hong Kong and Canadian Governments on textiles. I am sure that the Hong Kong Government will be submitting similar information formally under cover of a despatch in due course, but in the meantime you may wish to note the arrangements and, if there is delay in receipt of the formal communication on this subject, circulate details of them to other interested departments in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Board of Trade.
