At the option of the Government of the Republic of Korea, broadwoven cotton fabrics may be substituted for cotton yarn and thread, cotton pillowcases and cotton sheets at the following conversion rates:
Cotton yarn and thread 1 lb. Cotton pillowcases
Cotton sheets
4.6 square yards
1 unit = 1.084 square yards 1 unit
6.2 square yards
The restraint levels for the categories of cotton broadwoven fabrics, (a) other than grey and (b) corduroy, may not be increased by this conversion option.
The category for narrow fabrics includes all textile fabrics not exceeding twelve inches in width.
