Transfers between Quotas under the "Swing" Scheme
Example of "Swing" Yardage Calculation
A company holds a quota of 5,000 dozen in Category No. 103 nightwear and wishes to "swing" 10 per cent into it from a quota in Category No. 102 blouses which is held either by the same company or by another company which has agreed to "swing" its quota out. The following calculation would be required:-
(a) 10% of 5,000 doz.
(b) No. of sq. yds. per doz.
