Wool Cloth Exports By Japan Dip in 6 Mos.

Exports of wool and wool blend fabrics to the United States during the first six months of the year decreased slightly as compared with the first half of last year.
This reflects a decline of more than 4 million square yards in shipments of worsted and silk blends only partially offset by an in- crease of 1.5 million yards in polyester worsted blends and 1.8 million In all-worsted goods..
Exports of wool and wool blend yarns also dropped during the period with the two largest categories, worsted knitting and weaving yarns, showing appreciable declines.
