This was said by the Chair- man of the Hongkong Cotton Spinners' Association, Mr Vin- cent Woo, speaking at a dinner the Association held in the Hotel Miramar in honour of the visit- ing U.S. Maid of Cotton, Miss Cathryn Muirhead.

On the other hand, Mr Woo said, it was gratifying that the U.S. had come to buy the major part of Hongkong's textile ex- ports "and is our foremost and most valued customer,'
