It was agreed at the PCO meeting on Friday morning (September 5th) that the paper on International Trade in Textiles (200(69)17) should be amended in the light of the discussion and submitted to Ministers und er cover of a Note by the Chairman.
I now attach a list of suggested amendments and a draft covering note. These have been cleared within the Board of Trade and approved by the Chairman of the PCO.
I should be grateful if you and the recipients of this letter in other Departments would let Miss Elliott (2227877 Ext. 2621) know as soon as possible, but in any case not later than mid-day tomorrow (September 9th) whether you are content or wish to suggest. additional amendments.
