There is one rather tricky point which arises from your letter to Denzil Dunnett of 30 October. You refer there to the fact that "no doubt Dodge, the Hong Kong representative in Brussels, is aware of the position". In general we do work closely with Dodge on all these matters but, because of the rather delicate point in my letter of 10 September about negotiation for our own entry into the E.E.C, I did not feel able to show that piece of correspondence to him. You may wish to bear this in mind when raising the matter with the Hong Kong authorities.
