Mr. Whitlock: None. I do not know the source of my hon. Friend's informa- tion but in fact even the average un- skilled industrial worker earns £5 5s. for a 48 hour week. These may seem low standards but they are among the highest in Asia and improving all the time, as a comparison between the wages and cost of living indices would show.
