"To ask the Secretary of State if he will
state the average daily and weekly hours of
work for women and young persons in
Government Industry in Hong Kong during the
first full year of a 57 hours week."
We are assuming that he means Government
Industry and intend to reply on that basis. Could
you please supply details of
establishments so
covered, together with material for reply and
supplementary questions, ẹ.g. overtime working and
loss of earnings through shorter week; number of
workers involved. Please reply by Tuesday 4 February
