KONG KONG : THE LONG TERM
In my submission of 16 October I set out the recommendations
of the study of policy in respect of Hong Kong in the long
term on which officials have been at work for some montha.
2. These recommendations were reviewed in the discussions
with the Governor of Hong Kong yesterday and some amendments
were made. Those were largely matters of form.
You may
howover care to show the recommendatione in their new form (attached) to the Secretary of State before his meeting with
the Governor on 25 October.
