In a letter sent shortly before his departure from Hong Kong, Mr. Moreton asked me to look into a list of outstanding Hong Kong matters that the Governor handed to him.
2. Included in the list is the subject of Amendment to Royal Warrant and Regulations governing award of Colonial Fire Brigades Long
Service Medal.
3. The relevant extract from the Governor' list is attached. I should be grateful to
know where we stand on this matter and whether we can give the Governor some indication when he may expect a reply.
