Shortly before I left Hong Kong you gave me a list
of subjects on which Hong Kong had for sometime been
awaiting replies from the Foreign and Commonwealth
I set out below

submission to Ministers. I am afraid that I can give
you no particular date by which we can promise you a reply, but We shall do our best to deal with the matter
