I understand that the Prime Minister's Office wants a finally cleared draft not later than Friday afternoon, August 29th.
I would therefore very, very greatly appreciate if I could receive any additions, deletions or alterations to the wording which any of you may think desirable at your very earliest convenience.
I am sending copies of the draft to Mr. Sanders at the Board of Trade and Miss Windrich at the Ministry of Overseas Development, with whom I discussed the article verbally. Insofar as other Government Departments should be consulted can I leave it to the relevant F.C.0. Department to get any advice or clearance they may think necessary.
