On the 16th October, 1967 at 1800 hrs. two Police constables were on patrol in plain clothes. They saw a Chinese Male acting suspiciously, and followed him into Tin Lok Lane. near Hennessy Road the man took an object wrapped in brown paper from his jacket pocket and placed it on the pavement. The two constables rushed up and arrested him as well as seizing the object.
The Ballistics Officer later examined the object and found it to be a cigarette tin containing cement and glass fragments. It was a simulated bomb.
Sentence: 21 months
