At 10.15 hrs. on 29th August, 1967 the defendant dropped a note into the dock at Central Magistracy where three prisoners were awaiting sentence by the Magistrate having been convicted of various offences in connection with material printed in the Newspaper, Afternoon News.
The note incited the three prisoners to protest against unlawful conviction and to protest if they were to be deported.
The defendant was arrested by a Police Sergeant who witnessed the note being dropped. He was taken to the prosecutors office and an attempt was made to search him. He resisted violently and obstructed two Police officers in the cxecution of their duty,
