From The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State

9 January, 1969

On 19 December, 1969, in reply to a Question by you concerning persons imprisoned in Hong Kong following the disturbances in the Colony during 1967. I undertook to send you details of any such prisoners who may, at any time during their sentences, have undergone the punishment of separate confinement.

I have now learnt from the Governor that none of the prisoners in question has undergone this punishment.
