Further to my letter of 10th October, I have just heard from Dr. Chung that he would very much like to meet Lord Shepherd and Sir Arthur Galsworthy during his visit to London from 14th to 17th November.
Dr. Chung is coming as a member of the A.P.0. Mission for the Asian Productivity Year and the main engagement of the Mission will be to meet the Ministry of Overseas Development and the British Productivity Council. Mr. Mandeville of the East Asia Department of the Ministry of Overseas Development tells me that the Mission is due to arrive from New York by 'plane on the morning of 14th November and that no engagement has been made for the afternoon of 14th November. Mission is due to meet the Ministry at 11 a.m. on 15th November and will then be the Ministry's guests at lunch. The Mission is expected to meet the British Productivity Council during the afternoon of 15th November but no firm time has yet been fixed.

If Lord Shepherd and Sir Arthur Galsworthy were free on the afternoon of 14th November, this would appear the best time to arrange for Dr. Chung to call. If this is not convenient, then an appoint- ment could be fitted in some time on the afternoon of 15th November. Perhaps you could have a word with Mr. Mandeville about this. His telephone number is 834 2377, extension 160.
Dr. Chung and the other members of the Mission will be staying at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington High Street, London, W.8.
As Dr. Chung has expressed a wish to come to this office, I am thinking of arranging a small lunch for him on Thursday, 14th November but will not write to him about it until I hear from/about the arrangements for him to meet Lord Shepherd and Sir Arthur. If they were both engaged on both afternoons, perhaps they would care to meet Dr. Chung at my lunch?
