Advertisment Draws Attention To Post

An advertisement today (Monday) draws attention to the post of
Administrativó Secretary to the office of the Unofficial Members of the
Executivo and Legislative Councils.
The post was first outlined last Thursday by the Hon. Y.K. Kan,
Senior Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council, when he referred to
the UMELCO offico in his speech before the Council.
In addition to taking chargo of the administration of the office,
the Secretary's dutios will include the carrying out of research work on
behalf of UMELCO and interviewing mambors of the public and Government officials.
Candidates should preferably be botwo 35-55 years of ago, have had
vido administrative experianco in senior positions either in or out of the
Government, and possess a sound knowledge of local conditions.
Ideally, he or she should be able to spoak Cantonese fluently and.
write Chinese wall.
Salary will be between $5,500 and $7,500 a month, depending upon
