Association and Roform Club but ovontually an isolatod and hysterical

individualist. Hôr only constant support comes from the parents of

children attending her schools and the hawkor community.

First came to prominence in 1966 as loader of a campaign against small increases in the first-class feros of the Star Forry Company which culminated in throc nights of toonago rioting and hooliganism in Kowloon

in April of that year. Soon afterwards sho flow to London and was granted an interviar by the Secretary of State at which she demanded an inquiry by H.M.G. into the alleged corruption and administrativo injustices of the Hong Kong Government which sho claimod had provoked the riots. She also claimed (incredibly) that the riots wore a police plot to "blanc hor". Commission of Inquiry appointed by the Governor to invostigate the

circunstances and causos of the riots spent many wocks hoaring her testimony and allogations boforo ultinatoly dismissing hor from its procoodings for contompt. A considerablo part of the Commission's Roport is concerned

with her part in the events loading up to the rioting; the Commission

considorod her actions to be foolish rather than wickod.
