Many thanks for your prompt reply.
very sorry to say that I have to leave on
Wednesday for Jamaica for a further meeting with
the Caribbean Commonwealth Ministers on the
problem of St. Kitts and Anguilla. I had hoped
that the Conference in Barbados at the end of
last month had produced a solution, but
unfortunately further discussions are necessary.
I then propose to go on to New York for some
United Nations matters.
21 am sorry this has happened, but it means
that I cannot now get out to Hong Kong this
month and in the circumstances I think we ought
perhaps to stick to a visit in the second half of
October.
