Parliamentary Visit - 13 March to 3 April
In my minute of 1 January, I described the
nature of the Parliamentary Visit and informed you
of the Branches of the Association which had been
invited to send delegates. Attached to the present
minute is a copy of the programme which has been
drawn up for the Visit and the biographical notes
of the Members attending.
2.
Refusals of the United Kingdom Branch's
invitation came from Canada (Newfoundland), Fiji,
Gibraltar, Lesotho, Pakistan (East) and Singapore.
The total number of Members taking part in the Visit
is therefore eighteen as against the twenty-four
which the United Kingdom Branch had expected.
