Parliamentary question.

The following information relates to offences involving employment of women and young persons in prohibited hours, during intervals for a meal or rest, outside authorised periods of employment, and on rest days. These offences generally involve employment in excess of legal màximum working hours but not necessarily so. For example, the offence of working during

an interval for a meal may be committed in the context of an 8 hour day whereas it would be legally possible to work a 10 hour day.
