Assistance to Dependants
*20. (a) The Employer shall additionally provide the following dependants of the Worker with free passage and food from Hong Kong to the place of employment and on the termination or expiry of the Contract, free food and return passage from the place of the Worker's employment to Hong Kong, or, at the Worker's request, to his/her* place of origin if such place is nearer to the place at which the contract was performed. All necessary documents for dependants shall be provided by or on behalf of the Employer free of charge.

Interpretation
(b) The dependants referred to in (a) above shall be provided with free medical treatment and maintenance in hospital when they are sick.
(c) In the event of the Worker being repatriated under Clause 11(c) or of this Contract being terminated under Sub-Clause 14(a) or 14(c), the Employer shall also provide the dependants with free food and return passage to Hong Kong or, at the Worker's request, to his/her* place of origin if such place is nearer to the place at which the Contract was performed.
(d) The Employer shall also provide free furnished accommodation for the dependants.
(e) Food for the dependants shall be provided by

(f) Should the Worker die whilst employed under this Contract the Employer shall provide for the dependants listed in (a) above:-
(i) Free passage and free food from the place of employment to Hong Kong, or at the dependants' request to their place of origin, if such place is nearer to the place at which the contract was performed.
(ii) The benefits in clause 9(c) as if the worker were still alive.
21. There is appended to this Contract a translation of the terms hereof in Chinese. This translation is provided solely for the guidance of the Worker and in the event of any conflict between the interpretation of such translation and the terms of this Contract as written in English the inter- pretation of the English text shall prevail.
