HWB 14/58

10

Downing Street,

(5 September, 1968.

Many thanks for your letter of 10 September about Mrs. Elsie Elliott's further allegations of corruption in Hong Kong (which appears to be of a circular variety and has been sent to you for information only).

In regard to this latest communication, there is nothing that I can usefully add to my letter to you of 10 May.

We are still awaiting the Governor's comments on your letter of 15 July; but we have reminded him about this and I hope these will be with us shortly.

NIGEL FISHER, ESQ., MC., MP.

(SHEPHERD)
