Mr. Rankin's Petition
The position is that Mr. Rankin has, with permission, laid his petition and explained what it is all about. The petition should now go to the Committee of Public Petitions which will classify it and, if necessary, print it. The reports of this Committee are printed at intervals during the Session. Nothing more will be done unless Mr. Rankin or somebody else requests that the petition should be debated in the House.
