Kwangchow (Canton), June 6 (Hsinhua) Some 100,000 revolutionary workers, peasants, teachers, students, cadres and journalists held a rally here this evening to condemn the fascist atrocities committed by the British authorities in Hongkong aganist patriotic. Chinese residents there.
From today for ten days, the revolutionary masses in Kwangchow will take part in activities to express their support for the just struggle of the patriotic Chinese residents in Hongkong and to protest against the crimes of the British authorities.
This is a new upsurge in the struggle against imperialism that has been undertaken by the revolutionary masses in Kwangchow area since carly May. This evening, the spacious Yuch hs.ushan Stadium was a sea of people and re- sounded with the angry shouting of slogans. In his address, chairman of the rally pointed out that for over a century, the reactionary and decadent British imperialists had done all sorts of evil things and had incurred numerous blood

Our patriotic compatriots of various social strata in Hong. kong, with the working class as the nucleus, should mobilize themselves and direct the spearhead of the struggle at US and British im perialism, and primarily at British imperialisma which directly dominates Hongkong.

That is the real iron bastion which it is impossible, and absolutely impossible, for any force on earth to smash. The counter- revolution cannot smash us; on the contrary, we shall smash it'.
No matter how brazenly and wildly British imperialism behaves in Hongkong, as long as our compatriots there strengthen their unity and organisation, form a mighty revolutionary contingent and launch a powerful anti-imperial- ist mass movement they will be able to form a true revolutionary bastion of iron which Bri- tish imperialism can never smash. On the contrary, confronted by this bastion of iron the vicious British imperialists will inevitably be broken to pieces!
