'Down with the British imperialists!' is the main slogan in the rallies held in Canton recently for 5 consecutive days. A total of about 800,000 people took part.
The forceful demonstration in Canton staged by men of the Peoples' Liberation Army of the Canton Military Region, and the firm support they extended to their compatriots in Hongkong, greatly encouraged all the patriotic Chinese in Hongkong in their struggle against British imperialists.
