I have communicated my findings to S/Sgt. CHU Leung today in respect of each charge in accordance with Disciplinary Regulation 15 and now forward the se Defaulter Reports to the Commissioner in accordance with that Regulation to award punishment in writing, as I do not consider my powers to be sufficient in this respect. S/Sgt. CHU Leung has been so informed.
On receipt of the Commissioner's written award, I will inform S/Sgt. CHU Leung in person.
I told S/Sgt. CHU Leung that if he wished to appeal against my findings, he could do so in accordance with Section 28(3) of the Police Force Ordinance, CAP. 232, in writing to the Commissioner within 14 days of the findings being promulgated in Force Orders.
