who Mr. X

Mr. X asked CHU Leung to help
and CHU Leung replied
that he would do his best. I cannot remember the names used when
the other 3 were introduced to CHU Leung. We were in the restaurant
about half an hour and CHU Leung was present all the time. After
the introduction CHU Leung said there were too many people at this
restaurant and it was inconvenient for them to proceed further.
The next meeting with CHU Leung (identified) was about the
middle of September 1961. CHU Leung personally telephoned me and
asked me to go to the Sing Chow Restaurant for tea. He identified
himself to me as CHU Leung. I went to the Sing Chow Restaurant and
met CHU Leung there. He asked me whether Mr. X had left anything
for him. I said nothing and telephoned Mr. X. Mr. X instructed me
to proceed to his house to collect $2,000, $900 H.K. currency and
$200 U.S. I received H.K.$900 and U.S.$200 from Mr. X and returned
to the Sing Chow Restaurant where I handed over the money to CHU
Leung. CHU Leung said he did not know how much the $200 U.S. was
worth and asked me to have it changed. He also told me to wait for
him outside the Sun Sun Cafe in Lockhart Road. We both left the
restaurant and I went to have the money changed. I handed over the
money to CHU Leung after having changed it as arranged. We then
parted.
