three C/Ms produced as the three persons referred to at this identification parade). S/Sgt. CHU Leung again denied knowing any

of these three people.

On 2nd December, 1961, I saw S/Sgt. CHU Leung in the interview room, 4th floor, Police Headquarters, Special Branch. Mr. CHAN Hon

I Yin was again prosent as interpreter in the Cantonese dialect. asked S/Sgt. CHU Leung when was the last time he saw Mr. X. He replied at once saying, "I now remember that about 5 or 6 months ago in a side street off Sing Wo Road, Happy Valley, the time about 0900 hours, I saw Mr. X. He said good morning to me and I replied accordingly. That was all that was said". S/Sgt. CHU Leung went on

to say,

"I now remember I have seen Mr. X on several occasions

since the re-occupation of the Colony, but I have had no dealings

with him. That was all".

On 16 th November, 1961 I was present at the office of

Director of Special Branch, Police Headquarters. Present were Mr. A.L. Gordon, Deputy Director of Special Branch, and S/Sgt. CHU Leung (identified). I faithfully interpreted into Cantonese everything that was said by Mr. Gordon in English for the benefit of S/Sgt. CHU Leung and vice versa into English for Mr. Gordon.
